She even determined that I was not taking a medicine that I was supposed to have continued taking after my release from the hospital. The experience with the nurse practitioner in training and the nurse practitioner, Elsa Santellano was good. She provided attention to my issues and asked questions and provided instructions on the prescription I was given to assist with the pain and issue. We also discussed the plan for the order I need to get done and what the next steps will be. What I really do not like or always have a problem with is the extremely long wait time to be seen. My appointment was at 2:15pm, and I was not seen in the actual exam room until 4:30pm and completed the visit at about 4:45pm. The patients waiting in lobby were not a lot that afternoon and were called in and out pretty quickly, the flow was moving along (not a lot of people waiting). I was not called in to be assessed by nurses until about 3:20pm. Then waited in lobby for an exam room, got called in at around 3:30pm, waited for NP to come, before she did, her NP in training came in to assess me and find out my issues at about 4pm and then the NP (Elsa Santellano) came in about 4:30pm. We finally got done at about 4:40pm.
